Who we are

BLINKENLIGHT is a UK radio-frequency engineering practice. We design antennas, wireless and RF electronics, and run EMC pre-compliance for product companies that need specialist capability they don't keep in-house. Engagements are led personally by our principal engineer and supported by a network of associate specialists who add complementary expertise as a project requires. We work from our own RF and EMC lab in Bethnal Green, London, and we design and ship our own radio products — so the engineering we sell is engineering we rely on ourselves. Where continuity matters, design and source escrow is offered as standard.

The lab

What our Bethnal Green
lab gives your project.

You get a working prototype in 3–4 weeks, and every figure in the report is measured rather than assumed. We run the whole loop in one place, so nothing waits on an external hand-off. The toolchain is open, so the work stays yours.

Our in-house RF envelope is below 6 GHz and 20 W. Above that, we advise.

Paradar

LoRa & aviation antennas, and a handheld ADS-B flight instrument

We design, certify, manufacture and sell these under our own brand. The RF engineering we sell is the engineering behind products people fly.

Bluespot

4G / 5G broadband antennas

This is a shipped antenna line. It proves we close the loop from RF design through manufacture, documentation and support.

We also provide antenna engineering to a high-altitude pseudo-satellite (HAPS) aerospace programme, held to an airworthiness-grade bar. It is a credibility reference that anchors the rest of the work.

Design-and-source escrow can be arranged through an independent UK escrow agent. Your product line stays supportable for the long term.
